Hatred of marriage? Because the poster believes all people should have access to the legal benefits of it? Hardly.

If you'd done more than google "anti homosexual propoganda" you'd see that the article you copied and pasted has been refuted several times over.

From http://fanniesroom.blogspot.com/2008/10/propaganda-watch-harm-of-same-sex.html.

"Besides, Mass Resistance's statement is utterly devoid of any context. What do they even mean by "HIV/AIDS rates"? For instance, it's simply not clear whether they're referring to prevalence or incidence of HIV/AIDS, two very different epidemiological measures.

I mean, it is true, actually, that the numbers of those living with HIV/AIDS are increasing nationwide (prevalence). This is because, as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention cites (below), people with HIV/AIDS are living longer due to advances in anti-retroviral therapy. When people with HIV/AIDS live longer, then the numbers of people living with HIV/AIDS are necessarily going to increase. A-der. And, this trend is occurring not just in Massachusetts, where same-sex marriage happens to be legal, but everywhere in the US.

Secondly, the more relevant statistic, the one that would even allow us to begin to start talking about correlation in a same-sex marriage context, would be numbers of new diagnoses in a particular time span (incidence). And, looking at the actual data from the Massachusetts Department of Pubic Health, we can see that while, yes, the numbers of those living with HIV/AIDS has increased over the past 7 years, the numbers of new diagnoses has dramatically decreased."

Also, David Parker was arrested FOR TRESSPAS, after he refused to leave the school. Not for normal parental concern.

See that? That's called propoganda, buddy. And its a real travesty to bring it into the debate.

The bottom line is it doesn't matter if you like the unions or not. Whether you think they're good for society or not. Its simply not the goverment's place to discriminate based on sexual orientation or gender. Its illegal, as many courts have--and will continue--to uphold.

It might make you scared, and push up the costs of feather boas, but its what is FAIR.

My hatred for marriage comes from being married. I'm sick of my sacred institution being sullied by these Christians who kill their partners or worse, get divorced! I want everyone to be able to get married so that they may too have the right to protest their right to have the sanctity of their institution degraded when we allow robots to be programmed to love and marry non-robots.

Seriously though, if you bought into any of those skewed statistics or believe them to be fact, you're a moron. Non-biased articles don't use exclamation points.

Just for good measure, I'll pick out one bulletin point that I found ridiculous. I don't have time to go through them all, I picked this one because it is glaringly ineffective if you're not a giant douche:

"Since homosexual relationships are now officially “normal”, the Legislature now gives enormous tax money to homosexual activist groups. In particular, the Massachusetts Commission on Gay Lesbian Bisexual and Transgender Youth is made up of the most radical and militant homosexual groups which target children in the schools. This year they are getting $700,000 of taxpayer money to go into the public schools."

Radical and militant. Huh. A group that was founded in 1992 to prevent SUICIDE and merciless beatings of gay and lesbian CHILDREN is somehow an evil thing. They'd been going into schools before it was ever legal to get married, but that didn't fit the conservative agenda so it wasn't really worth mentioning.

Your view of and apparent hatred for marriage is hardly making case why we should expand such an institution to another group.

Where are your facts it all good?

You don't like the line that showed the results of studies relating to the inceased domestic viloence in the homesexual community? What about the other lines?

No personal attcks please, I feel your liberal aggression towards any moral order but please, I'm a moron? I love you anyway Botics ;)

There are many lines in there that made me laugh out loud, that's how biased this pile of dog excrement is.

How can you not see that this drivel is terrible propaganda utilizing nothing but fear?

Is that all you people know?
Do I have to come tuck you in at night and tell you everything is going to be fine? Go back to bed America. Here: here's American Gladiators. "Watch these pituitary retards bang their fucking skulls together and congratulate you on the living in the land of freedom."

If you honestly believe that these are the facts, or The Truth, you are a moron of the highest caliber. Take this line:

"Research shows that homosexual relationships are fundamentally dysfunctional on
many levels, and “marriage” as we know it isn’t something they can achieve, or even desire."

Thankfully we have all of those heterosexual relationships to guide us in the right direction, right? I think I just heard about another father who shot each of his children in the head, then shot himself to get back at that damn wife for possibly...POSSIBLY cheating on him. That's the kind of moral clarity I want to bring to my children. (This is on the news by the way, where all of these children can see it! Oh My!)

How about the divorce rate? Surely that's under 75%! Now THAT'S something to bank on! Screw those children who have to see their families ripped apart because their mother and father detest each other, they're just victims of circumstance, let's keep force feeding them the idea that they have to grow up and get MARRIED (to a woman) to be happy. (divorce rate is around 50%, by the way.)

Now, CHRISTIAN households! That's where the moral fiber is, right? "A family that prays together stays together!" Wrong. In a sample study done by the Barna Research Group, divorce rates were SIGNIFICANTLY higher than other faith groups, even among those blasted atheists and agnostics.

So while they're teaching their children to hate and fear homosexuals and their possible partners, there's a good chunk of them teaching these children to hate their spouse and that it is perfectly alright to bring a child into a loveless endeavor.

Teaching tolerance at an early age isn't something to be feared. If you want to keep your children in a bubble, protected from the outside world that is evolving around your uncultured lifestyle, be my guest.

Maybe someday George Costanza will come play Trivial Pursuit with them.

"I'm sorry... The MOOPS. It's the Moops."
