Never Beat a Lady

The Grammy’s are always a disaster. Maybe introspective reflection on the horrid state of the recording industry is what brings out the worst in people, or maybe they were just complete and utter rejects to begin with.

Just before the Grammy’s started, Ryan Seacrest was wetting his pants on the red carpet with some news that singer/dancer Chris Brown and his girlfriend Rihanna (the one who sings about her umbrella) would not be at the Grammy’s and would not be performing either.

We find out later that Chris Brown and Rihanna apparently got into an altercation early Sunday morning and that Brown hit Rihanna, possibly breaking her nose or jaw, sending her to the hospital. Brown’s out on a $50k bond.

First of all, both of these “artists” are boring and lack any significant talent. Sure, the recording industry thinks they are the best of the best, but the recording industry has been watered down by years of lowered expectations and mediocrity. They couldn’t tell talent if it was all hot n’ bothered on the casting couch. At the same time, fans have been cultivated to like lamer and lamer music…so, its no surprise that the weak sauce keeps getting slathered on the brisket…especially when its all fat and no meat!

Second of all, real men don’t hit women. Never. But, Chris Brown isn’t a real man. He is, at best, a poor reconstruction of Michael Jackson and hasn’t yet figured out how to molest sick children yet. Give it time, Chris Brown, you’ll figure it out.

I mean, c’mon, who hits women? Uh, the villains in those Univision novelas, Muppets, other women…but no real men. Hmm…

And last, how on earth is Rihanna even interested in someone like Chris Brown. The dude is a sideshow. He’s a back up dancer. This cat can’t be compelling. Y’all should have seen that writing on the wall. The dude lip-syncs more than Miley Cyrus.

“Oh Duke, c’mon, don’t drag ol’ Miley into this one.”

Hey, Miley is beat. We all know that. Maybe Chris Brown should start taking boxing rounds with her. She probably hits back.
